Job Description:

  • Manage assigned projects day to day operations
  • Engage with clients & partners in project annual workplanning to provide comprehensive workplans for CID assigned work streams that align with project timeline and available resources
  • Develop project scopes of work/ terms of references including required activities, estimated number of man days, required resources in collaboration with internal team members in relevant areas.
  • Manage the consultants/expert’s engagement on assigned projects from recruitment to closure.
  • Prepare the monthly project monitoring tools including technical, financial, operational based on relevant documentation obtained from the project team
  • Prepare monthly risk assessment based on status and briefings from the relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor implementation of CID scopes of work/terms of reference including progress made, man days consumed and alert Senior Projects Lead to issues that might arise.
  • Monitor and inform the Senior Projects Lead of all issues and potential risks that could affect the project adversely on a regular basis
  • Communicate with relevant consortium partners on project operational issues including but not limited to invoicing, requests for expert/consultant mobilization/contracting etc.
  • Manage the daily/operational communication with the project team/client and beneficiaries to ensure prompt response to client requirements.
  • Establish regular communication with consultants/experts ensuring alignment on deliverables, timelines, and client expectations.
  • Participate in client briefing meetings to determine client requirements and outline scope of potential engagements.
  • Develop progress reports & support in the development of monthly & annual reports.
  • Report on technical, financial, and overall project performance and health to Senior Projects Lead aligning project team
  • Participate in the development of proposals to prospective clients.
  • Develop new business out of existing clients in coordination with the Business Development team.
  • Act as a focal point with the Business Development team when developing proposals for prospective clients.
  • Participate in technical consulting delivery on assigned scopes.
  • Coach team members on the use of relevant forms and tools
  • Lead/ support in assigned CID internal initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Business Administration, Economics, Social Sciences or other related field
  • A post graduate degree in a related field or relevant executive development program in the field
  • 6-9 Years of experience
  • Previous experience in leading teams is a plus
