Business Development Associate

Working on the generation, design and farming of client opportunities and proposals while developing and enhancing CID’s business development strategy.


·          Conduct market research in order to identify market opportunities/trends and support in formulating the business development strategy  

·          Generate and validate leads with private sector clients

·          Build and develop a pipeline of business development opportunities with private sector clients

·          Pitch CID’s corporate capabilities and services to Clients, primarily focused on executive and middle management

·          Gain in-depth understanding of client needs and develop detailed and thorough briefing of required scope/intervention

·          Work closely with capability leads in CID to design winning solutions that address Client needs/pain points and provide a clear value-for-money

·          Lead the development of technical scopes and financial quotations for Client projects

·          Structure and negotiate commercial terms of the projects with Clients

·          Manage the business development process from lead generation and validation, technical scoping and financial quotation, to contract negotiation and closure

·          Work closely with project teams to assess implementation, ensuring consistent feedback and service development

·          Build and maintain long-lasting and effective relationships with Clients, consultants, partners, and key stakeholders

·          Research and propose service innovation to meet market needs

·          Build partnerships to allow CID to expand its service offerings


·        6-9 yearsof experience in in consultative selling or marketing in a B2B environment, including but not limited to: account management in a marketing agency; strategy and/or management consulting; sales, business development, or solution architects in IT services.

·       Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Political Science, or relevant degrees

·        Excellent organizational, time management, and presentation skills

·        Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

·        Strong commercial and numerical acumen

·        Strong communication and negotiation skills  

·        Ability to draft and develop professional documents and presentations

·        Ability to present and engage with top and mid-level executives

·        Perfect command of spoken and written English and Arabic
